The story begins when Chris (Desmond Harrington) decides to avoid traffic and turns onto a small forest road in the mountains of West Virginia. A fatal mistake leads to a collision with a group of young people who are stranded in the middle of the wilderness. Soon the group realizes they are not alone: in the shadows of the forest lurks an inbred and merciless mountain family who doesn't welcome guests – except as food. A bloody game of cat and mouse begins, where every misstep could be the last.
