It's 1933, and ten years have passed since Rick O'Connell (Brendan Fraser) and Evelyn (Rachel Weisz) first encountered an ancient evil. They are now living happily in London with their son Alex, until fate intervenes: the mummy of Imhotep is brought back to life in the British Museum.
Meanwhile, an even more terrifying force, the Scorpion King (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson), is rising from the sands with an army of the underworld.
