At the request of writer Zacharias Topelius (Arvi Tuomi), composer Fredrik Pacius (Thure Bahne) sets out to create his historical work.Inspiration strikes when Pacius meets the young Ebba Dunckert (Maaria Eira), whose nightingale-like singing wins the composer’s heart.The infatuation of married Pacius causes quite a scandal, and the storms of life become intertwined with his magnificent compositions.
