Song for Marion (DVD)
It's never too late to find your voice.
Song for Marion is a heartwarming, tear-jerking, and hilarious story that reminds us of the healing power of music. The film tells the story of Arthur (Terence Stamp), a cranky and withdrawn pensioner who can't understand his wife Marion's (Vanessa Redgrave) passion for the local amateur choir - especially when the choir performs highly unusual arrangements of heavy metal and pop hits.
When Marion falls ill, Arthur reluctantly agrees to take his wife's place in the choir, guided by a young and inspiring choirmaster (Gemma Arterton). The journey forces Arthur to confront his own fears, mend his relationship with his son, and discover that life is meant to be lived - and sung.
