"He's back – more civilized and hairier than ever!"
Is it genius or sheer laziness? That's what the whole of Finland is wondering when our hero, played by Vesa-Matti Loiri, jumps into the academic world. Professori Uuno DG Turhapuro, released in 1975, is the second film in the series and it cemented Uuno's place in the hearts of Finns (and his father-in-law, Vuoristoneuvos Tuura, as a nervous wreck).
This time, Uuno is not content to just lie on the couch, but he proves to be a true multi-talented person. When his father-in-law tries to get rid of his son-in-law by sending him to work, Uuno ends up – completely by accident, of course – becoming a professor. There will be absurd situational comedy, verbal fireworks and, of course, iconic moments in a fishnet shirt.
