The first, authentic and original hit film - Finland's most famous curmudgeon takes over the big screen and the capital!
Based on Tuomas Kyrö's popular book series, The Grump (2014) is a domestic comedy-drama hit directed by Dome Karukoski. The film turned a traditional man who enjoys his own company in the countryside into a cultural phenomenon beloved by Finns. It offers biting situational comedy, warm-hearted humor, and perceptive social and generational criticism.
