When the giant passenger ship SS Poseidon capsizes and is left floating upside down in the middle of the ocean, the rescue effort is over – but the hunt is just beginning. Predators of the Seas is a direct sequel to the original SS Poseidon adventure starring Michael Caine and Sally Field.
Tugboat captain Mike Turner ( Michael Caine ) sees an opportunity to make a fortune and heads towards the wreck in search of valuable cargo. But he's not the only one: the shady Dr. Stefan Svevo ( Telly Savalas ) claims to be a doctor searching for survivors, but he has something far more dangerous in mind. It's a race against time and rising water through the ship's corridors, which could collapse at any moment.
