Directed by George Miller, the sequel sees Mel Gibson reprise his role as Max Rockatansky. In a post-apocalyptic wasteland, gas is more valuable than life. Max ends up helping a small community of survivors who are trying to protect their oil refinery from the relentless attacks of Lord Humungus and his motorized gang. The film is known for its incredible stunts and relentless pace.
