One of the most incredible survival stories of the First World War.
The Lost Battalion is a gripping and realistic portrayal of courage, brotherhood, and perseverance amid the hell of the Argonne Forest in 1918. The film tells the story of a 500-man unit led by Major Charles Whittlesey, which becomes surrounded behind German lines without food, ammunition, or contact with its own forces.
