They’re back to save the world - again! Directed by Ivan Reitman, Ghostbusters II - Ghostbusters 2 brings the beloved cast of the original hit movie back together for an iconic adventure.
Five years after the events of the first film, the Ghostbusters’ reputation is on the line, and lawsuits have forced the team to shut down its operations. However, when pink slime powered by negative emotions begins flowing through New York’s sewer system and the tyrannical Vigo the Carpathian, who lives in an old painting, seeks to return to the world of the living, Peter Venkman (Bill Murray), Ray Stantz (Dan Aykroyd), Egon Spengler (Harold Ramis), and Winston Zeddemore (Ernie Hudson) are forced to strap on their proton packs once again.
Filled with hilarious humor, fast-paced special effects, and legendary late-80s nostalgia, Ghostbusters II is an essential sequel for every comedy and sci-fi collection.
