Experience one of the most beloved classics in film history, honored with six Academy Awards® (including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor)! Forrest Gump is a moving, hilariously funny, and inspiring masterpiece directed by Robert Zemeckis and featuring an iconic performance by Tom Hanks.
Forrest Gump (Hanks) is a simple but big-hearted man from Alabama who sees the world through innocent and open-minded eyes. Guided by his mother’s (Sally Field) wisdom, Forrest repeatedly finds himself involved in some of the most significant events in U.S. history from the 1950s to the 1980s - from football fields to the Vietnam War, the White House, and becoming a ping-pong star. Despite his incredible success, Forrest’s heart beats for only one thing: his childhood friend and the great love of his life, Jenny (Robin Wright).
Fueled by a masterful soundtrack and unforgettable storytelling, Forrest Gump is a film everyone should experience again and again.
