When American brothers Todd and Jan Wolfhouse travel to Germany to take their grandfather's ashes to Oktoberfest, they accidentally stumble upon a centuries-old "Beerfest" competition held in a secret basement. It's the Olympics of the world's heaviest beer drinkers, where the brothers are brutally humiliated by the Germans.
But the Wolfhouses are not deterred. They return to the United States and assemble the most extraordinary team in history - full of beer drinking professionals, scientists and former champions - to defeat the Germans in their own sport.
